Независимая комиссия, по результатам обследования трамвайных путей, пришла к выводу о том, что для восстановления трамвайного движения требуются подъёмочные мероприятия на путях либо капитальный ремонт на всём протяжении следования трамвайного маршрута № 5, за исключением участков, которые ремонтировались в 2015 году.

Поступили первые два троллейбуса Solaris Trollino IV: один 12-метровый, второй 18-метровый сочленённый.

Город договорился выкупить 9 составов построенных для Латины, которые уже 10 лет гниют на кольце в Duppigheim (Франция). Их планируют использовать на линии Sir 3 (вокзал — Voltabarozzo)

Work on extension Stesicoro-Palestro started. This extension will be 2.2 km long and will contain 3 stations: San Domenico, Vittorio Emanuele and Palestro.

Трамвайное движение остановлено в связи с ремонтом кривых по маршруту №2.

The extension of the T3b tram line west of Porte de la Chapelle to Porte d'Asnières is open. The length of the new section with 8 stops is 4.3 km. Thus, the length of the T3b line has been increased to 14.3 km.

The Loop Trolley streetcar line opens at full length following 2 years of delays and cost overruns. The 5,15 km-long (one-way) line runs between Forest Park and historic Delmar Loop neighborhood in suburban University City. The line is partially single track with two passing points on a reservation, partially double-track on a mixed right-of-way. The system was under construction since 03.2015. The original cost of the project was $43 million, which increased to between $51-66 million. The system opened with 2 replica Brill 1903 cars built by Gomaco in 1991-1992 numbered 001, 002 (formerly Portland 511, 512), partially refurbished. One MMTB W2 ex-Seattle, ex-Melbourne 1928-built car 003 (ex-512) is still under refurbishment at Gomaco. Two additional MMTB W2 ex-Seattle, ex-Melbourne cars 482 & 518 are stored at the depot with no funds for refurbishment. The system was to open on 15.11.2018, which was prevented by the snowfall. Only the official ceremony was held. Operation started on 16.11 via 1/2 of the route due to a bureaucratic and financial squabbles with the University City officials, but was interrupted due to the shooting. The monorail in Wuppertal will close the service at least till summer 2019. After accident at 18.11.2018 the construction was closed as a 300m long part of the energy-rail fall down. Now its the process to explore the failure and in future to repair. So this popular monorail is out of service, but nobody knows if this monorail get back to service after summer 2019.

The last day of operation of the Tatra T2R trams. Until this day, the two cars 18 and 19 are still in regular service.

15 ноября московскому (а одновременно российскому и советскому) троллейбусу исполнилось 85 лет.

Поради намалял пътникопоток, считано от днес движението на тролейбуси по линия №41 в участъка бл. 26 — Ученически комплекс се преустановява.

В связи с сильным износом трамвайных путей на участке проспект Чайковского — ул. Коминтерна в Твери полностью закрыто трамвайное движение: закрыт последний действующий трамвайный маршрут № 5.

The end of operation of Škoda 14Tr after 35 years.

The second generation streetcar system opens. The 7,7 km-long (one-way) network consists of two circular lines. The cost of the project was $97 million. The system was under construction since 12.2015. The system is operated with 6 1937-built PCC cars, refurbished by Brookville Liberty. The cars used to operate in San-Diego, and on the International Tramway Line between El Paso, USA – Ciudad Juárez, Mexico until 04.05.1974. The PCC cars were since stored by El-Paso municipality. All cars retained their original fleet numbers.

First of 41 new trolleybus Škoda / Solaris Trollino IV 12 has arrived.

A bid for new trams' delivery to Liepaja is awarded to the Croatian company "Konсar-Electric Vehicles Inc". The tram supplier was chosen through the process of negotiations. The Croatian company will supply 6 trams for 8,83 million Euro, 2 of which will be equipped with passenger counters. The new tram purchase is financed by EU and the carrier Liepajas Tramvajs.

Исполнилось 120 лет с момента запуска в Орле движения трамваев!

Окончание эксплуатации трамваев Tatra K2. Трамваи этой модели эксплуатировались с 02.1967.

The 6,45 km-long (one-way) starter segment of the streetcar network 'The Hop' between Milwaukee Intermodal Station — Burns Commons opens. A $123,9 million project was completed in 19 months, on time, and within the budget. The line is operated with 5 three-section low-floor Brookville Liberty streetcars with an auxiliary power option, delivered at a cost of $18,6 million. A 2 km-long segment of the line is not equipped with an overhead.

На линию после окончания процесса сертификации выходят первые 20 трамваев Stadler Tango NF2. До марта 2020 выйдут оставшиеся 20 трамваев. В рабочие дни они будут работать на маршрутах 3, 4, 5, (6), 7, (9), 12, а в выходные — на маршрутах 4, 5, 7, 8, 17. С этого момента начинается массовое списание старых трамваев T3SU(CS), T3G и K2, при этом K2 окончательно покинут улицы города.
