New trolleybus VMZ-5298.01 Avangard has been delivered following a 13-year break in rolling stock acquisitions. The trolleybus received fleet number 304.

Trolleybus operation is considered closed. 6 partially low-floor midibuses PAZ-3204 Vector Next have been acquired to replace trolleybuses. The new midibuses operate on the former trolleybus Lines 8a and 11, and provide additional service on Line 8 Sporttovary — Khimzavod and Line 8 Sporttovary — Zh.d. Vokzal (Railway Station).

Only two trolleybuses services 4 and 12 remain in the city from 01 December. Each line is operated with 8 trolleybuses.

Trolleybus overhead on Oktyabrskoy Revolyutsii Ulitsa has ben dismantled as a part of the street's reconstruction. This line was opened on 01.27.1962 and had long been serviced by the Route 1. The line was mothballed since 2018. The Monument Druzhby Loop was partially dismantled in 2020.

Trolleybus service reinstated. Trolleybuses operate on a weekend schedule since the beginning of the military conflict.

The trolleybus Line 3 has been suspended leaving only the Line 8 in operation.

As of December, 1st trolleybuses operate between 04:45-10:35 and 14:45-21:30. Diesel buses owned by KTU operate all day.

The new metro line М4 — Linate Aeroporto — Dateo is opened.
The first 5.3 km-long segment of the line includes 6 stations: Linate Aeroporto, Repetti, Stazione Forlanini, Argonne, Susa and Dateo. The new line will not be connected to the rest of the metro system until the future Dateo — San Babila segment is built.
