The Line 3 Zapadaniy Avtovokzal — Vishenka — Elektroset opens. The service will be operated with 4 trains on weekdays, 3 trains on weekends and holidays. Trams will operate every 15-18 min.

The Dzerzhinsk tramway is closed. The last trip via the Line 4 was operated by the car 052 "Our Home Town", former Ivanovo 319, which pulled into the Depot 2 at 23:17.

В троллейбусное депо №3 прибыл троллейбус БКМ-321. В депо №3 также прибыл на испытания троллейбус ТВЗ-6281 «Адмирал».

The first 12km long subway line is opened.

Официально объявлено об окончании строительства нового моста и трамвайной линии на другой берег Дуная. Последний раз новая трамвайная линия была построена 26 лет назад, трамвайное движение на другой берег Дуная будет запущено в следующем году после 55 летнего перерыва.

The trolleybus Depot 2 is officially closed.

The Governer of the Kaluga Region Anatoliy Artamonov expressed a need to gradually phase out trolleybuses.

Section of north-south cross-city tunnel was opened from Severinstraße via Bonner Wall to Schönhauser Straße. The section is part of tram line 17

The city counsel decided to temporary close tramway operation. The official reason — construction work on the Severniy railroad viaduct. The city's last remaining tram Line 4 Santurinovka — Molokozavod passes under the viaduct.

Opening of the new 1,5 km. tram line via Berliner Allee to Messe. The Route 4 Zähringen, Gundelfinger Straße — Messe introduced.

The tramway operation was converted to the electric power supply. Formerly diesel-powered cars AR145 (originally built in 1935) & AR266 (1938) were equipped with lithium-phosphate batteries, which are recharged every half-hour during a 6-minute layover at terminals. Two additional cars are to be similarly converted.

В 15 часов 8 декабря в срочном порядке в городе восстановлено трамвайное движение. Количество выпусков и время работы установлены штатном режиме.

The Vologdaelktrotrans trolleybus carrier has filed for bankruptcy. Drivers were issued pink slips. Trolleybus routes are being contracted out to private diesel bus carriers. The trolleybus operation is expected to end any day.

55th anniversary of the Bryansk trolleybus system.

According to the Ukrainian media 11 second hand MАН SL 172 HO trolleybuses acquired in Solingen, Germany. However, 13 vehicles are known to be sent from Germany on 23.11 and 25.11. Prior to arriving in Mariupol, the trolleybuses will be rehabbed in the city of Dnepropetrovsk.

Tambov, November 28th: The first of the two TrolZa-5275.03 Optima trolleybuses delivered.

Stillegung der 4,8 Kilometer langen Straßenbahnstrecke zwischen Connewitz Kreuz und Endstelle Markkleeberg West aufgrund mangelnder Nachfrage, Endpunkt der Linie 9 fortan in Connewitz, Klemmstraße. Damit auch Stilllegung der einzigen elektrischen Fahrleitungskreuzung Straßenbahn/Eisenbahn in Ostdeutschland. • The 4,8 km.-long segment of the tram line 9 between Connewitz Kreuz and Markkleeberg West is closed due to low ridership, a need for track repair and lack of financial backing. The Line 9 operates via the line 11 to the Klemmstraßе Terminal. The only electrified tramway / railroad crossing in Eastern Germany closes.
