Last day of the interurban service on the Lake Shore Electric. Cleveland–Toledo line, Fremont–Bellevue–Ceylon Junction (Norwalk) shuttles and Gibsonburg branch are converted to bus the following day.

Tram service was inaugurated using three "Type X" motor cars on a 4.5 km single-track line (Route No. 1). The line featured passing loops and connected "Lenin Park" (now Bernatsky Garden) with the NKMZ works via Ordzhonikidze Street (now Oleksa Tykhyi Street). A small depot with a capacity for 7 cars was also constructed.
