Metro line C: Opening of the new terminus station of "San Giovanni" line C

The first test metro train arrived at the new Likhobory Depot (TCh-19). The depot is fully ready for service and will accept some train transfers from the Pechatniki Depot (TCh-15) in the nearest future.

An overhead for the tramway Line 2 is dismantled between Ulyanovskaya Ulitsa and Kontsertniy Zal Minsk (the Minsk Concert Hall). Points at merges with revenue tracks for the Lines 1, 4 & 7 are also dismantled.

Delivered the first 5 ex-Almaty (ex-Berlin) Tatra KT4DtM trams numbered 1003, 1007, 1008, 1011, 1016 of a batch of 13 such trams.

The tramway operation begins. A single 22,4 km-long line with two branches and 26 stations opens between 11 Décmbre 1960 in the east of the city and Oucissa Laid / Berchi Abid at the city university in the west of the city. 34 trams of Alstom Citadis 402 type are used. Operated by SETRAM.

The new interurban trolleybus Line 31 between Chișinău, Strada 31 August 1989 — Sîngera opens. Trolleybuses operate via: Strada 31 August 1989 — Strada Alexandr Pușkin (return: Strada Mitropolit Gavriil Bănulescu-Bodoni) — Bulevardul Ştefan cel Mare — Bulevardul Constantin Negruzzi — Bulevardul Iuri Gagarin — Șoseaua Muncești — Strada Chișinău (return: Strada Chișinău — Strada Mioriţa) — Sîngera, Strada 31 August 1989. The length of the line is 17,5 km. The outer segment has no overhead, 5 trolleybuses with an auxiliary power option are used. See the timetable at:

The recently suspended trolleybus Line 1 between Severniy Avtovokzal & Monument Druzhby is reinstated. 2 trolleybuses operate on the appx. 60 minute headway. Thus nominally trolleybus service in the city center is partially reinstated, including revenue service on the oldest trolleybus line in Ufa.

After being mothballed for 14 years the second trolleybus line reopens. The Line 2 first opened in 2002, but was suspended in 2004 due to roadworks and rolling stock shortages. The reintroduction of the service became possible following delivery of 23 new Trolza-5275.03 Optima trolleybuses in 2017. As of now the Line 1 is operated between Terriotrialniy Okrug Manas Ata & Territorialniy Okrug Kurmanzhan Datki (Studencheskiy Gorodok) via Kyrgyzstana Ulitsa with 16 trolleybuses. The Line 2 is operated between Avtovokzal (the Bus Station) and Territorialniy Okrug Kurmanzhan Datki (Studencheskiy Gorodok) via Kurmanzhan Datky Ulitsa with 12 trolleybuses. The ex-Moscow trams of 71-619K type enter service.

The trolleybus Line 1 Severniy Vokzal — Monument Druzhby is suspended, which move leaves the entire Ufa city center without trolleybus services. The suspension covers the first trolleybus line in the city, which was operated since 02.1962.

The manufacturer TOO Higer Quazar provided the city with a single autonomous electric bus as a test specimen for a 30-day trial. A few stationery and portable charging stations were also provided.

After 24 years the tramway Line 24 is partially reopened between Camões and Campolide on April 24th. The line was suspended in 1995.

The first tram of a batch of 40 vehicles of Stadler Tango NF2 type delivered around 23:00 hours. This is the first foreign-manufactured tram delivered to the country since 1918, when the independent Czechoslovakia was founded.

С 16:00 до 18:00 22 апреля состоялась тестовая обкатка специального маршрута-шаттла № S5: "Железнодорожный вокзал — Стадион "Самара Арена" с остановками "Железнодорожный вокзал", "Музей им. П.В. Алабина", "Самарская площадь", "Проспект Ленина", "КРЦ "Звезда", "Барбошина поляна", "Московское шоссе". По новой линии к стадиону "Самара Арена" протяжённостью 2,2 км обкатка проходила без пассажиров.
Маршрут № S5 будет работать в дни проведения тестовых матчей (28 апреля, 6 и 16 мая 2018 года), а также в дни проведения матчей Чемпионата мира по футболу FIFA 2018 на стадионе "Самара Арена" (17, 21, 25, 28 июня, а также 2 и 7 июля 2018 года) в течение 4 часов до начала и 3 часов после окончания матчей. Планируется, что на маршруте будет задействовано 10 трехсекционных трамвайных вагонов модели 71-631, а также до 77 трамвайных поездов моделей 71-623, 71-405, АКСМ-62103, Tatra T6B5SU. Интервал движения трамваев составит: в дни тестовых матчей — от 5 до 10 минут, в дни матчей ЧМ-2018 — 2 минуты. На время работы специального маршрута № S5 движение обычных трамвайных маршрутов будет приостановлено.

Two trolleybus services change. The Line 17 will operate between Koshkeldy and Noviy Aerovokzalniy Kompleks (the New Airport Terminal Complex). The night express Line 20 will operate between Zheleznodorozhniy Vokzal (the Main Railroad Station) and Noviy Aerovokzalniy Kompleks with 2 nightly runs only. Upon operating from the New Aiprort Terminal in the city-bound direction trolleybuses operating both services will stop over at the Old Airport Terminal.
