Cordoba, 5 lutego 2016 r.

The official "blue ribbon" ceremony with Córdoba's mayor Ramòn Mestre and the acceptance of the 7 new Russian trolleybuses, including the first commemorative departure from the Depot's gates took place on February 3rd. Revenue service with passengers started on February 5th. Due to low passenger carrying capacity the new trolleybuses are assigned to the Line C.

Nowy Jork, 4 lutego 2016 r.

According to the New York Times, the New York mayor Bill de Blasio announced the project to construct a 25,75 km-long tramway line by 2024. The line will be built via the eastern bank of the East River, connecting Brooklyn and Queens. Trams will operate in mixed traffic with speeds around 20 km/h. Ługańsk, 3 lutego 2016 r.

Due to a partial collapse of the Sovetskaya Ulitsa railroad overpass, trolleybuses operate as far as the Dvorets Sporta Dinamo Stop only. Trolleybus traffic in the western part of the city is temporarily suspended.

The trolleybus operation in Dzerzhinsk could cease on 29.01.2016 unless electric supply bills are paid off. The tramway operation in the city closed on 18.12.2015.

The trolleybus Line 8 Naugorskoe Shosse — Yuzhniy Pereulok suspended. Hence, trolleybus service via the long one-way loop line in the Zavokzalniy Posyolok area is no longer provided.

Cordoba, 20 stycznia 2016 r.

The Argentinian federal government ordered an exemption of import duties on the 7 new Russian trolleybuses, as this units meet a public service standard. The vehicles were locked for many months by customs formalities. The 5 Optima trolleybuses reached the TAMSE Depot, but are not allowed to operate in service. The 2 Megapolis trolleybuses are being held by the customs.

Briańsk, 19 stycznia 2016 r.

A mass optimization of the trolleybus operation is expected due to a dire financial situation. As of 01.02.2016 the Bezhetskoe Depot will be mothballed, with trolleybuses gradually transferred to the main A.V.Sidorov Depot. As of 01.03.2016 the Lines 10 & 10K will be suspended, while the Line 3 will be extended to the Gorbatova Ulitsa. The service on the Lines 3 & 12 will be reinforced at the expense of the Line 10.

Cagliari, 19 stycznia 2016 r.

A head-on collision between two trains, which resulted in hospitalization of 57 people, mostly students on the way to school. Both train operators were also injured. It is suspected that a faulty switch caused the accident, by allowing two trains to run head-on via a single truck segment.
