The first Green Line of the Taichung MRT (Mass Rail Transit) automated metro opens. The elevated line is 16,7 km-long and has 18 stations. The line is operated with 36 two-car units by Kawasaki/TRSC.

A unique project "Theatrical trolleybus" starts in Saratov. The enterprise MUPP "Saratovgorelectrotrans" has allocated trolleybus No. 2258 to re-equip it for the necessary stage conditions and decorate with decorations both inside and outside.
For residents of the city today at 18:30 the premiere of the play "Three Sisters" based on the play by A.P. Chekhov. The trolleybus will be used not only by professional actors, but also by actors from amateur and student theaters. The spectators will board at the Ploschad Ordzhonikidze stop, then the trolleybus will proceed to the railway station along route 15 and back. The duration of the performance is 80 minutes.

Троллейбусный маршрут № 12 сокращён до временного кольца на перекрёстке улиц Святослава Рихтера и Аэропорт Центральный.
Троллейбусный маршрут № 14 направлен на конечную станцию «Застава І» — таким образом, значительная его часть совпадает с маршрутом № 3.

A contract has been signed for the supply of 34 autonomous electric buses of Irizar ie bus 12 type, and 10 Irizar ie bus 18 type. Закончена поставка троллейбусов УТТЗ-6241.01 «Горожанин» по контракту на 52 единицы.

С 15 марта вносится изменение в некоторые маршруты. В утренние дни и вечерние будет уменьшен интервал на троллейбусных маршрутах №4 и 15. Также будет изменено расписание 19 троллейбусного маршрута.
