10.2025	By late September, trolleybus route 1 from Pyongyang Station to Ryonmot-dong (평양역—련못동) is converted to electric bus operation. Trolleybuses previously serving the route have had their current collectors removed as part of the conversion to electric buses.
15.09.2025	By mid-September, trolleybus routes 3 (문수—2백；Munsu—2nd Department Store) and 4 (사동—1백；Sadong—1st Department Store) are converted to electric bus operation.
06.2025	18 years after the last sighting, the Changchun DK4 has been once again captured in service on the Pyongyang Metro.
15.05.2025	Ryongsong—Ryonmotdong trolleybus route resumes operation, after it was disrupted during the construction of Hwasong District Stage 3.
26.04.2025	Yonggwang Station reopens following reconstruction. The interior has been repainted and lighting has changed, with the chandeliers removed.
