The tramway Lines 1 and 7 have been reinstated following the completion of the infrastructure reconstruction.

Delivered trolleybus UTTZ-6242.

The new 2,5 km-long segment of the MUNI Metro — Central Subway opens including three underwound stations Chinatown, Union Square/​Market Street, Yerba Buena/​Moscone, and one surface station 4th/Brannan. The new segment is connected with the rest of the network at 4th/King. The Line T — Third Street has been rerouted, and now operates between Chinatown and Sunnydal utilizing the new segment.

The new 14.3 km-long metro line M8 is opened between Bostancı and Parseller on the Asian side of the city. The line includes 13 stations, of which 3 offer transfers to the M4, M5 metro lines and the Marmaray system. The M8 service operates from 06:30 to 21:30 every 9 minutes. The one-way travel time is 21 minutes. The line is served by 10 fully automated 4-car trains manufactured by Hyundai EURotem.

The first 10 second-hand Solaris Trollino III 12 dating from 2011-12 arrived from Lublin. 20 such trolleybuses were purchased for appx. 825 000 Euro.

As a result of the shelling of the trolleybus Depot, several trolleybuses have been destroyed and more than 20 have been damaged. The maintenance shop has been damaged. The trolleybus service has been suspended due to severe damage to the overhead at various locations throughout the network.

The last day of service of the tram Line 1. The entire part of the network in the industrial park east of the BSI terminal, which includes the lines to Shinniy Zavod and TETs-2, is no longer operated. The total length of abandoned trackage is 30 km. (two-way).

The new trolleybus Line 17A between Leventsovsky — Tsentralniy Rynok opens. 5 vehicles of the 'Gorozhanin' type with a battery auxiliary power option will be used. The total length of the route is 35 km, of which the section using auxiliary power is 14.5 km. This is the longest trolleybus route in Rostov-on-Don.

Two new trolleybus services 1T and 3T using battery auxiliary power have been launched. The Line 1T operates between Posyolok Kirova and Osvobozhdeniya Ploschad using 1 trolleybus. The Line 3T operates between Zapadniy Mikrorayon and Metallurgov Prospect using 2 vehicles. There is no overhead available, trolleybuses operate in the electric bus mode. The service is provided during a.m. and p.m. hours only with trolleybuses recharging at the Depot in-between.

The last day of tramway operation. The last special non-revenue run between Severnaya TETs and the Depot has pulled into the Depot at 19:45. The last run was completed by train 014+017. The Ist-Ilimsk tramway is closed.

The end of service of the original Tatra T3 trams with accelerator. This type of trams has been used in service since 1965. The last train 990+902 operated on the Lines 1 and 10. Trams 752, 987 and 8201 have been preserved as historic trams.

Light Rail Line 1 is officially opened, with the exception of Huangshibei Railway Station stop.

The first segment of metro opened, the 11,7 km-long Line 6 with 9 stations.

A concession agreement has been signed between the Government of the Yaroslavl Region and the Movista Regional company to provide modernization of the tram system in Yaroslavl. The range of contract is 20 years, the investment will be 19.7 billion rubles. The project provides for a comprehensive renovation of the tram infrastructure and rolling stock, the purchase of 47 single trams, the reconstruction of 45.3 km of tracks, the rehab of 8 substations, the rebuilding of 2 overpasses and the renovation of the tram Depot. It is expected that after the modernization of the system, the tram ridership will be about 17.5 million passengers a year. The work is expected to begin in January 2023.

A supplementary tram line between Autostrada — Svobody Ploschad" has been introduced using 3 trams. The service operates during peak hours only.

Delivered 2 new UTTZ-6241.01 Gorozhanin trolleybuses with MAZ-203 bodies.

Alstom Flexity TW500 trams entered service on the Vienna — Baden localbahn line. A total of 18 five-section vehicles have been ordered.

Delivered the first new UTTZ-6241.01 trolleybus of a batch of 9 such vehicles ordered.

Tram operation has resumed. The tram Line 2 operates DMK and Dunayska Vulitsa. The tram Line 4 temporarily operates between DMK and Odeska Vulitsa.

The Khodzhasan metro station and the Depot open.

The last day of regular service operations of the Ust-Ilimsk tramway between 9-y Mikrorayon and Severnaya TETs. Train 055+056 operated the last revenue trip between 9-y Mikrorayon and the Depot, pulling in at 21:31. Special non-revenue service between the Depot and Severnaya TETs will be operated until December 30th — 2 trips in the morning, and 2 trips in the evening. The tramway operation will be shutdown from Janurary 1st, 2023, and the tramway infrastructure will be dismantled.

The Maidan Nezalezhnosti and Khreshchatyk metro stations have been reopened. The stations were closed since the end of February, 2022.

The new 3,1 km-long (two-way) segment of the tramway line between Sosnowiec Zagórze Pętla — Zagórze Rondo Jana Pawła II has been opened and the Line 15 has been extended.
