Открытие новых маршрутов связано с отказом от частных автобусных перевозок в городе — большая часть частных автобусных маршрутов на момент выхода новости уже отменена. Оставшиеся маршруты микроавтобусов планируется передать в обслуживание Троллейбусным управлением (ожидается закупка микроавтобусов).

Начинаются работы по ликвидации троллейбусной сети в городе.
Маршрут 9 заменяется автобусами, продлевается до микрорайона "Еврохим", на 2 часа сокращается время работы маршрута.
Сокращается количество графиков на маршруте 6, вместо 6 графиков остаётся 3, планируемый интервал движения — 20 минут.
Маршруты 5, 7 — изменяется расписание.
Маршрут 14 — сокращается время работы маршрута, работает до 20:30.

В связи с возобновлением работы Линии Тридцатилетия Независимости Узбекистана бесплатный компенсационный метробус 1М закрыт. Вместе с этим запущено в эксплуатацию как отдельное новое депо бывшее ПТО этой линии, имеющее теперь официально название "ТЧ-4".

Tram services in the city have been suspended.

Following damage to the city’s tram network caused by shelling on the night of 27 October, tram operations were once again halted for repair and restoration work.

However, due to the deteriorating security situation, mass evacuation of the population, regular shelling of the city, and the critical state of the energy sector, a decision was made to cease operation of the tram system from 1 November 2025.
The last actual day of tram service was 26 October 2025.

Tramcars will soon be evacuated out of the city to ensure their preservation.

The Rotterdamse Elektrische Tram public transport operator has taken delivery of its first Mercedes-Benz eCitaro electric bus. A total of 27 three-door vehicles have been ordered.

HeiterBlick has stopped manufacturing trams for Würzburg.

Würzburg, which ordered a total of 18 new trams from HeiterBlick in 2019, only received the first of them at the end of 2024 — approximately two years later than planned.
The two trams that have been delivered cannot currently be put into service because they have not been certified: the manufacturer, HeiterBlick, is in a difficult financial situation and is unable to continue with the certification tests or deliver further carriages.

HeiterBlick is in the process of restructuring and is actively seeking investors. According to official statements by Würzburg's tram operator WSB, the company's main efforts are now focused on continuing the current project.
