TRC (Trasporto Rapido Costiero) — italian government will provide 8.85 million euros for new Van Hool ExquiCity 18 trolleybuses. Next week the construction of 11 new stops in Rimini will be started.

Italian government will provide 137.88 million euros to buy new 11 subway trains (55 million euros) and build "Brin-Canepari" (64.28 million euros) and "Brignole-Martinez" (18.1 million euros) sections.

Italian government will provide 223 million euros to buy new trams (75 million euros) and build "Lingotto-Bengasi" (stations Italia '61, Bengasi) and "Fermi-Cascine Vica" (stations Certosa, Collegno Centro, Leumann , Cascine Vica) subway line 1 sections.

Italian government will provide 47 million euros needed for line 4.
Next months lines 2 and 3 tests will begin.

Italian government will provide 56 million euros needed for line 2 "Chiesanuova"-"Ponte di Brenta" and line 3 "Stazione"-"Ospedali"-"Voltabarozzo". Probably those will be tram lines.

Italian government will provide 19 million euros to buy 16 trolleybuses (or electric buses). They will be used for an east("ex Foro Boario")-west("Fiera") line passing through main train station.

Italian government will provide 58,11 million euros to buy 4 new trams and build tram line to suburban Quartu Sant'Elena.

Italian government will provide 267,82 million euros to complete Line 6 with depot "Arsenale". Other 1,46 million euros will pe provide to enlarge Line 1 depot "Piscinola".

Delivered the first two ex-Moscow trolleybuses as a part of the regional humanitarian aid program by the Moscow government.

New high floor Siemens S200 cars 2001-2006 enter service. The contract assumes delivery of 219 trams of this type.

Electric transport operations reinstated as of 12:00 local time.

The bridge over the Nikitinskiy Ovrag on the 8 Doroga (between the Saranskkabel/Tipografiya & DSK Stops) closes due to dangerous state of disrepair for all traffic including trolleybuses for an unknown period of time, likely for half a year or more. The trolleybus Line 13T is suspended. The depot trips on the Line 5 are rerouted.

Delivered the first Škoda 21TrACI trolleybus, ex-Plzeň 491, from a batch of 4 such trolleybuses to be delivered by the end of the year 2017.

As of 19:00 15.12.2017 all electric transport is suspended due to outstanding balance on electric power by the carrier MUP UIT. The date for restoration of operations is not announced.

The first 71-407-01 tramcar has been delivered.

The trolleybus Line 23 will operate: Shavrova Ulitsa — Komendantskiy Prospect — The Komendantskiy Prospect Metro Station — Gakkelevskaya Ulitsa — Bogatyrskiy Prospect — Shuvalovsky Propsect, return from via Shuvalovskiy Prospect via Optikov Ulitsa — Turistskaya Ulitsa. The service will be operated with trolleybuses with extended auxiliary power option. A part of the route between Gakkelevskaya Ulitsa and Shuvalovskiy Prospect does not include an overhead.

HKL and Bombardier Transportation signed the settlement agreement for the further operation of Variotram vehicles delivered to Helsinki in 1998-2003.
According to the agreement, operation of these tram cars in Helsinki will be finished until end of 2018. Bombardier and HKL will work together to sell 40 Variotram vehicles to another european city.
