Metro stations are used as shelters. Train movement suspended as of 15:00 in order to accommodate as many people as possible. Due to martial law in Ukraine public transport use is free.

Trolleybus operation suspended due to bombardments of the civil infrastructure by the Russian Army. The last trolleybuses pulled into the Depot at 13:00 on 24.02.2022.

Traffic on all three metro lines was stopped on February, 24th at approximately 14:13. All trains were instructed not to depart from the stations they were at, or stations they were approaching. The high voltage power was removed at 14:20. There was no train movement since, while the trains are used to accommodate the population sheltered at stations. Following the AM rush hour on February, 24th, the scheduled pull-ins of trains into the depots was not carried out. All trains were placed either at stations or at stub ends throughout the system to ensure safety of the rolling stock in case of possible shelling of both of the depots. Hence, there is a minimal number of trains stored in depots. Due to the shelling of the area of the Depot-2 "Saltovskoye", the depot's administrative building and one of the naves were damaged, and the trainset (8844-8843) received minor damage.

The number of people sheltering at stations ranges from 200-300 people at stations in the city center, to 1500-2000 people at stations in large residential areas.

В связи с попытками ракетных ударов по городу движение троллейбусов остановлено до отдельного распоряжения главы Славянской военно-гражданской администрации.

На площадке электронных торгов размещена первая закупка новых троллейбусов(31 ед.) в рамках реализации проекта по модернизации инфраструктуры, обновлению подвижного состава и реформированию маршрутной сети. Проект общей стоимостью 4,0021 млрд руб. планируется реализовать за два года – 2022-2023 гг. Всего планируется приобрести 100 троллейбусов(из них 13 с увеличенным автономным ходом), что позволит полностью обновить парк.

First day in service.

Из-за повреждения трамвайного пути на пересечении улиц Рудаки и Беруни приостановлено движение трамваев по маршруту №1 (Ж/д Вокзал — Массив Сартепа) и №2 (Ж/д Вокзал — Сиабский рынок). Таким образом, в городе на неопределённый срок фактически полностью остановлено трамвайное движение.

Город объявил тендер на закупку 80 троллейбусов с автономным ходом на 10 км. В планах за 47 миллионов евро приобрести 20 18-метровых и 60 12-метровых низкопольных машин и завершить их поставку до 2025 года.

Междугородную линию Екатеринбург — Верхняя Пышма будут обслуживать 11 односекционных полностью низкопольных трамваев модели 71–911ЕМ «Львенок».

С ноября 2021 года система приостановила свою работу из-за долгов обслуживающего предприятия за электроэнергию. На данный момент долг погашен, решается вопрос о возобновлении деятельности системы на условиях государственно-частного партнерства.

В коммунальном транспорте города заработала бесконтактная система оплаты проезда. Оплата осуществляется с помощью банковской карты с чипом или телефоном с технологией NFC. Наличная оплата остается.

В Ташкент доставлены 20 новых электробусов марки Yutong модели ZK6128BEVG китайского производства. После завершения наладки трехдвереые машины будут выпущены на автобусные маршруты N 51 (Бешагач (ул.Фурката) 6-й квартал массива Юнусабади) и N81 (Массив Куйлюк-1 Улица Гульабад) для регулярного обслуживания пассажиров. Таким образом в столице Узбекистана после шестилетнего перерыва, продлившегося с момента закрытия трамвайного движения, возобновляется работа наземного городского электрического транспорта, а автобусные парки N1 и N8 официально становятся предприятиями по его обслуживанию.

On 1st February 2022, there will be changes in the functioning of Gdynia's public transport. They mainly consist in the introduction of timetables that take into account the commencement of the operation of electric buses and changes in the transport offer conditioned by the current epidemic and budgetary situation of local governments.

New electric buses, purchased by Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacji Autobusowej sp.z o.o. with a very high co-financing from EU funds (85% of eligible costs), they will be gradually put into operation by the end of the first half of the year. They will serve the following lines: 128, 133, 150, 190, 282, N40 and N94 covered by the EU project, and additionally 104 and 196 — operating during the morning peak hours.

16 standard and 8 articulated electric buses were purchased. It was assumed that the batteries of Gdynia's vehicles would be recharged at night at the depot (slow charging), and during the day on the route — during stops on loops — via pantograph chargers (fast charging).

The following loops were indicated as the location of the charging stations:

— Dom Marynarza (dwie stacje),
— Dworzec Morski — Muzeum Emigracji,
— Oksywie Godebskiego,
— Plac Kaszubski,
— Witomino Leśniczówka (dwie stacje).

С 1 февраля 2022 года начинает работу новый троллейбусный маршрут №99 "ВГУ — Универсам "Молодëжный"".
Троллейбусы будут курсировать от Университетской площади по Плехановской улице, Московскому проспекту, улице Хользунова, улице Маршала Жукова, бульвару Победы, улице Владимира Невского.
Следует отметить, что его трасса полностью совпадает с существовавшими ранее маршрутами №№22, 7А.

В Калининграде началась эксплуатация новых трамвайных вагонов модели 71-921 "Корсар". Пока что на линию вышли 2 вагона и эксплуатируются по единственному маршруту 5. На данный момент в депо уже находятся 10 вагонов. До конца февраля прибудут оставшиеся 6 вагонов.

В изпълнение на заповед на директора на РЗИ – Стара Загора, за въвеждане на допълнителни временни противоепидемични мерки на територията на област Стара Загора, считано от 31 януари (понеделник) ще бъде спряно обслужването на тролейбусна линия No 1 кв. „Железник“ – СБА.

На предприятие города Севастополя (ГУП "Севэлектроавтотранс") поступил первый электробус из Москвы. Машина прибыла ориентировочно на месяц для испытаний сложных условий рельефа местности.

Для проведения испытаний на территорию Троллейбусного депо № 1 доставлен электробус со статической зарядкой КамАЗ-6282.

The final day of trolleybus service is confirmed to be March 12th on the Lines 71, 73 and 77A. The Line 72 was discontinued in December 2020. The trolleybus wires will be removed an substituted for diesel buses for two years until battery electric buses are promised to replace the service. The Silver Line will continue to run the current fleet of dual mode (trolley+diesel) buses, but 5 battery electric buses have already been ordered, with the rest of the silver line trolley fleet to be phased out in the near future.

The new tramway Line 4 between Stacija and Maizes kombināts opens. Trams will be operated every 60 minutes.
