The first electric bus (IVECO Crossway LE City Elec #871) enters regular service on route 113 Ljubljanica — Jarun.

The trolleybus is now in service.

New line — 16E has been announced between Praça do Comércio and Parque Tejo at the eastern end of the city. The new line will stretch 12km of length, 18 stops a total cost of 160M€ (including new trams) and is estimated to begin operation by 2028. More info.

On 31.03.2025, a trolleybus ran for the last time on the route from Neuhausen, centre, to the Herbstäcker terminus. The route was cancelled because the overhead line is being dismantled due to construction work on Klettgauerstrasse. It is not possible to run in battery mode, as there is already a section without overhead lines before Neuhausen, centre. To continue the journey, it is now necessary to change to a diesel bus in Neuhausen. In the evening and on Sundays, when the bus only runs every 20 minutes, only diesel buses run on the entire route. Once the construction work is complete, trolleybuses will no longer run in Schaffhausen.

The operation of the system is still preserved, but in a shortened form. Trolleybuses are planned to be completely replaced by electric buses in 2026. For this purpose, the city has ordered 6 Irizar articulated electric buses.

The city has launched operation of new BYD K9MD-ER electric buses. The “ER” designation indicates an extended battery range compared to the standard BYD K9MD model, which has been in service since 2021. A total of 95 buses will be delivered. 45 buses assigned to the J Line and the remainder deployed on Metro Local routes, fully replacing the aging NABI 45C CNG fleet. The new electric buses will be maintained at Divisions 9, and 18.

По его словам, 31 марта депутаты парламентского комитета по бюджету рассмотрят соглашение с Европейским банком реконструкции и развития о выделении городу Ошу 14 миллионов 740 тысяч евро на покупку троллейбусов, из которых 5 миллионов евро – грант.

Планируется закупка 20 троллейбусов и 24 электробусов.

Yutong trolleybuses have officially started their regular operation.

By the end of 2026, 46 new trolleybuses will be delivered to Esslingen. The Škoda Group won the contract.
These are the 32Tr and 33Tr models with the bodywork coming from the Czech manufacturer SOR.

12 rigid and 34 articulated vehicles will be equipped with batteries for an autonomous run of 25 km.

The option for 15 more trolleybuses has already been partially confirmed: a further 6 (articulated) vehicles have already been firmly ordered, and the financing for these has also been secured.

The city authority signed the contract for the delivery of 3 electric minibuses from house Karsan, type e-JEST. The contract also includes building of a small terminal at the railway station and 3 charging stations for the vehicles. 26 stations will be built and properly marked in the city.

С 15 марта по 1 мая 2025 закрывается движение трамваев к остановочному пункту "Д/С "Озеро" (маршруты 3, 4, 5) по причине перекладки инженерных сетей и коммуникаций в районе пересечения Машерова и Кропоткина для строительства метро. С 9 марта временно закрывается трамвайное движение Минаевскому мосту.
Это необходимо для того, чтобы соединить новый и действующие участки рельсошпальной решётки, заменить ещё 200 м путей на улице Минаева, смонтировать и подключить к электричеству контактную сеть.
Трамваи №9, 10 и 22 будут следовать объездными путями – через улицы Пушкарёва, Карла Маркса, Робеспьера, Можайского, Марата, остановку «Дамба» и далее по маршрутам.
Для удобства пассажиров на участке между остановками «Пушкарёвское кольцо», «УльГЭС» и «ТРК «Спартак» ежедневно с 6:30 будут курсировать четыре бесплатных автобуса с интервалом в 10-12 минут.

Delivery of the first new Končar TMK 2500 three-section low-floor tram. A total of 10 trams have been ordered from Končar, funded by National Recovery and Resilience Plan, which are to be delivered throughout the year.

На линию вышли первые 2 вагона Vevey Be 4/8 №1240 и №1241. В свой первый рабочий день вагоны обслуживают маршрут №1.

В Павел-Баню прибыли новые электробусы. Проект «Экологичная мобильность» является совместным проектом муниципалитетов Павел-Баня и Казанлык, его цель — создать предпосылки для качественного и экологически чистого транспорта за счет достижения низкого уровня вредных выбросов в атмосферу. Проект реализуется в рамках Национального плана восстановления и устойчивости Республики Болгария.

В рамках проекта в два муниципалитета было поставлено в общей сложности 12 новых электробусов, три из которых будут обслуживать междугородние маршруты в направлении села Осетеново — Павел-Баня — Казанлык.

В муниципалитет Павел-Баня также были поставлены две зарядные станции, которые расположены в муниципальном центре и селе Александрово.

The trolleybus system has been closed. Purchase of 10 diesel buses has been planned to replace trolleybuses. The dismantling of the overhead network is planned for the summer of 2025, together with the widening of the main street.
