Trolleybus 4001 was almost sold for scrap by mistake in 04.2012, but was saved by local fan enthusiasts.
Hence the only Russian artic trolleybus in Athens continues to decay at the back yard at the Nea Filadelfeia trolleybus depot.

Троллейбус 4001 чуть не был по ошибке продан как металлолом 04.2012, однако машину отстояли местные любители-активисты.
В результате единственная в Афинах тестовая русская гармошка продолжает ржаветь на задворках троллейбусного депо Nea Filadelfeia.

On rare occasions when the artic ZiU-683 trolleybus 4001 was operable, it worked on Lines 1 or 12.
In this photo 4001 is laying over at the Line 12 terminal near Zappion.

В редкие дни, когда сочленённый троллейбус ЗиУ-683 номер 4001 находился в рабочем состоянии, он работал на маршрутах 1 или 12.
