Delivered the first BKM 321 trolleybus out a batch of four trolleybuses.

Official presentation of a batch of 10 three-section articulated trams of the 71-631 type, acquired in 2016 in preparation for the 2018 World Soccer Cup. It is expected that upon completion of tests new trams will enter service on the Lines 1, 5 & 22.

В рамках работ по ремонту магистральных улиц Твери принято решение о демонтаже трамвайных путей на участке проспект Калинина — проспект Ленина, ул. Вагжанова, ул. Советская, пл. Капошвара (за исключением трамвайных путей, по которым следует трамвайный маршрут № 5 "ДСК — Автовокзал"). При этом планируется сохранения трамвайных путей на проезде Дарвина, ул. Спартака, проспекте Победы и ул. Орджоникидзе.

TrolZa 5265.02 Megapolis trolleybus enter service.

Testing of the new Urbos 3 trams began via the segment of track on John F. Kennedy Avenue. The 16-km long tramway line will be completed by 2020-21. The 3,6-km long segment of the line will be built without an overhead, trams will operate using battery auxiliary power. Passenger service via the first segment between LuxExpo & Pont Rouge is expected to commence on 10.12.2017.

The new one-way curve introduced at the corner of Murmanskaya Ulitsa / Yasnaya Polyana Ulitsa. The new Line 8 opens operating between Elektromashina and Apteka (Severniy Maganak). Trams utilize the new curve in the Elektromashina direction of travel only. The Severniy Maganak-bound trams operate through the DK Gorkogo loop.

Due to a sinkhole at the corner of Tukaya Ulitsa / Tatarstan Ulitsa tramway operation through the given segment is temporarily suspended approximately for 3 months until repairs are completed. The Line 2 is suspended.

На основании постановления и. о. главы администрации города Твери Владимира Карпова от 3 июля 2017 года, в связи с сильным износом контактной сети на Московском шоссе и тяговой подстанции № 6, закрыто троллейбусное движение на участке ул. Вагжанова — Химинститут, в связи с чем закрыт троллейбусный маршрут № 5, вместо которого открыт автобусный маршрут № 5 "бульвар Профсоюзов – Химинститут".

Od 31.12 se plánuje zprovoznění nové trolejbusové trati po ulici Vrchlického. Nová trať začíná na kruhovém objezdu u zastávky Poliklinika a končí mezi zastávkami Horní Kosov a S.K. Neumanna (SKN). Dále bude obnovena trať na ulici Jiráskova k železničnímu přejezdu na bývalou konečnou Staré Hory (dnes Na Dolech). Zároveň bude mírně změněno linkové vedení, kdy okružní linky B a B1 budou nahrazeny linkou B v trase: Hlavní nádraží — Březinova — Masarykovo náměstí — Sokolovna — 17. listopadu — Dům Zdraví (jen ve směru tam)/Poliklinika (jen směr zpět- pozor, zastávky na schematech jsou špatně) — Vrchlického — SKN — Na Dolech a po stejné trase zpět.
Místo linky B1 bude linka D v trase Hlavní nádraží — Chlumova — Sokolovna — Seifertova — Poliklinika a zpět.

As per mayor's office decision the trolleybus Line 12 is canceled due to unprofitability, since it is fully duplicated by the diesel bus Line 6.

Trolleybuses do not operate since January 2017. The overhead is partially dismantled due to construction works. The overhead reconstruction and acquisition of new trolleybuses are planned using EU funds.

The new trolleybus line via Voinov-Internatsionalistov Ulitsa opens. The new Line 11 opens operating between Mikrorayon Medtsentr — Vokzal via Petrusya Brovki Ulitsa, Voinov-Internatsionalistov Ulitsa, Chernyakhovskogo Prospect, Lenina Ulitsa, Kirova Ulitsa.

The trolleybus Lines M7 & M7K (formerly 63) close. Diesel buses will be operated instead. Thus only two trolleybus lines now remain in the city center within Sadovoe Koltso — the lines via Bolshaya Polyanka Ulitsa and Bolshaya Yakimanka Ulitsa.

The tramway operation in the city begins. The new 7,4 km-long line between Sekapark in the west and Otogar (the Bus Station) in the east with 11 stations opens. The depot is located near the Otogar Terminal. Travel time via the entire line is 24 min. The line is operated with 12 Durmazlar Panorama trams built in the city of Bursa.

A heritage tour tram of the RVZ-6M2 type starts operation via the Line 2 following 8 years after removal of this type of trams from service. The general tour ticket price is set at 209 rubles, 100 rubles for students, 300 rubles with food included, the ride is free for senior citizens and children younger than 7 y.o. The tram will operated Thursday-Sunday between 10:00-22:00 hours.

-Добавлено исключение из правила о равноценности для городов, откуда не было фото в интервале ± 1 год от даты съёмки.

The "new" date for the trolleybus system closure is set for October 31st, 2017. The overhead dismantling is set for November, 2017.

Открыто движение по трамвайной линии протяжённостью 8,9 км (12 станций). Линия имеет колею 1435 мм, традиционно питание осуществляется от третьего рельса (без использования воздушной контактной сети).
