Škoda trolleybuses 14Tr and 15Tr ceremonially ended operation. The operation on regular lines was terminated on Friday 16/06/2023 and on Sunday 18/06/2023 the farewell to these cars took place. The last representatives of these types were cars 3259, 3276(14Tr) and 3505 (15Tr). Among other things the museum vehicle collection already has car 3502 (15Tr) and soon car 3283 (14Tr) will be added.

Three downtown underground LRT stations have been already opened.
These are Grand Av Arts/Bunker Hill, Historic Broadway, Little Tokyo/Arts District stations, built under the brand of [b]The Regional Connector Transit Project. Thus, the two previously separated LRT networks (A and E line on one hand, and the former L line on the other) are now connected. Two through-running services have been introduced:

A Line — Downtown Long Beach — APU/Citrus College, 78.1 km (48.5 miles),
E Line — Downtown Santa Monica — Atlantic, 35 km (22 miles).

Thereby, the A Line has become the world's longest tram/streetcar/LRT line (78.1 km/48.5 miles), surpassing the previous record holder of Kussttram (Coastal Tram) in Belgium (69 km).

Zhangjiang Tram (Translohr) stops operating, with services replaced by electric buses. The service had a consistently low patronage, a key reason being the centre of the Zhangjiang district shifting away from the area served by the Translohr; the high cost of parts also played a role in its demise.

По информации руководства коммунального предприятия «Краснодонское троллейбусно-автотранспортное управление» с 1 июня в связи с отключением электроэнергии на предприятии работа городского электрического транспорта КП «КТАУ» по маршрутам №1 «Славутич – Первомайка» и №4 «кв.Баракова – Первомайка» будет остановлена.

С 1 июня 2023 года, в Самарканде начата эксплуатация 6 электробусов Yutong ZK6106BEVG. Автобусы вышли на маршрут М1 (Вокзал — Аэропорт)

Geely Commercial Vehicles with "Yuancheng" brand vehicles wins a tender for the supply of 790 electric buses for a total cost of ¥463280000 (~$66.6 million USD) including lifetime warranty.

• 700 8 metre buses
• 90 6 metre buses (for Yuhang district)

Deliveries are to be finished in 2023, and will replace most of the 12 metre BYD K9A and K9F delivered in 2014 and 2015.

With the drop in temperatures service on trolleybuses Line Q has been reinstated. Since a solution to the battery problem has not been found, the municipal Executive confirmed that the service will remain active until the weather permits.
