Trams received new fleet numbers 1001-1013. The rest of the vehicles are not renumbered as of yet.

The U3 extension opens between Friedrich-Ebert-Platz and Nordwestring.

The new trolleybus Line 22 opens between Universitet and Entuziastov Ulitsa;
The Line 7 that previously operated between Universitetskaya Ulitsa and Agregatniy Zavod is suspended, the trolleybuses are reassigned to the Line 22;
The Line 9 operating from the Airport is extended to Krasnaya Ploschad via Lenin Prospect without a detour via Gagarina.
The Line 21 operating between Universitet and Meditsinskiy Tsentr is rerouted via Michman Pavlov Ulitsa and Moskovskiy Prospect.

Trolleybus Lines 1, 8 & 8A are suspended. The Line 9 is extended from ZKO to Kuybysheva Ploschad. Selected runs via the Line 12 are rerouted to Zheleznodorozhniy Vokzal (the Main Railroad Station). The number of vehicles operating the Lines 9 & 12 is increased at the expense of the former Lines 1, 8 & 8A.

The suburban tram Line 41 is replaced with diesel buses between Łódź Chocianowice Ikea — Pabianice due to poor condition of the infrastructure. The city of Pabianice announced a tender for an emergency work on the overhead.

Grand Opening of the QLINE streetcar service.

All 12 TrolZa 5265.03 Megapolis trolleybuses have been delivered. The new vehicles are undergoing night trials in operation both under the overhead and in auxiliary power mode. It has been reported that upon a sample 25 km. run with air conditioning and all lights on, the batteries were discharged 40% of the nominal total. It is assumed that the units will be numbered 21-32 in correlation with the TrolZa factory numbers 88-99.

The first two BKM-E433 Vitovt-MAX rechargeable electric buses entered service via the trolleybus Line 59.

A Chinese builder obtained official permit to built LRT in Atstana. According to the company work began on the segment 115-116 of the future line.

Guandi Mine trolleybus line closes.

The new trolleybus Line 17 opens between Airport and Khoshkeldy via Evpatoria-Yalta Belt Road, Kievskaya Ulitsa, Kechkemetskaya Ulitsa, Pobedy Prospect, Glinki Ulitsa, Selskaya Ulitsa. There are two segments along the route without an overhead. On the opening day the line was operated with 2 trolleybuses. It is planned to increase service to 10 operating vehicles.

Construction of the new 2,2 km-long tramway line started between Tashkentskaya Ulitsa and the Samara Arena Stadium as a part of preparations for the FIFA-2018 Soccer Tournament. The line includes the 389 m-long tunnel along Moskovskoe Shosse between Tashkentskaya Ulitsa and the loop, construction of which began last year.

The trolleybus Line 9 is converted into the hybrid bus Line 72.

Stadler Pankow selected to supply 16 Variobahn trams for DKr336m for the light rail line planned for the city. This is 2 more than the city had originally planned to purchase, so that the 7,5 min headway can be operated, rather than the initially proposed 10 min headway. Comsa, together with the local subcontractor Munck Gruppen, will supply overhead installation, substations, track, stops and the maintenance depot for DKr1,2bn. The new 14,7 km-long line with 26 stops will connect Tarup in the north with Hjallelese in the south via Odense Banegård Central and Syddansk Universitet.

Suburban tramway "Comasina"-"Limbiate" is split in two pieces "Comasina"-"Cassina Amata" and "Cassina Amata"-"Limbiate".

7 new "Sirio" tram, that will be used on line 3, are already in Florence.

Depot, located among "Dinegro" station, enlarged in both directions. There are 4 new rail tracks on west side and 3 new rail tracks on east side. Also a workshop was build on east side.

The trolleybus Lines 13 and 32 are suspended. The diesel bus Lines T13 and T32 are introduced instead. This replacement is yet another step in accordance with Moscow Mayor Sobyanin's plan to close city's trolleybus network.

Трамвай маршрута D пересек французско-немецкую границу на постоянной основе: состоялось открытие нового участка от Порта-де-Рейн до вокзала г. Кель. До конца июня ветка будет продлена еще на 2 остановки в центр немецкого города.

The trolleybus Line 16 opens operating between Maryino & Agrouniversitet.

The tram Line 23 closes. The Line 19 is extended to Lambrate FS in place of the Line 23. The Line 27 is rerouted to Duomo instead of the former terminal Piazza 6 Febbraio. The extended Line 19 now serves the segment between Piazza 6 Febbraio and Duomo in place of the Line 27. The service on the Line 24 is increased by 26 round trips daily. The Lines 15 and 24 exchange terminals — the Line 15 now operates to Via Dogana, while the Line 24 operates to Piazza Fontana.

A tender is being held for construction of a trolleybus line between Balıklıgöl Kavşağı and Eski Otogar (the Bus Station), and delivery of 10 trambuses by the beginning of 2018.

The first 4 tramcars of type Be 4/6 S Schindler/Siemens delivered from Basel. For now, the cars will operate on the Line 8. Pictures from the launch can be found at HERE.

Delivery of the first 30 TrolZa-5275.03 Optima trolleybuses of the batch of vehicles to be delivered in anticipation of the 2018 Soccer Tournament.

Opened 2.2 km extension Birkelandsskiftet — Bergen Lufthavn (airport).

Delivery of the first 2 new Russian trolleybuses TrolZa 5265.03 Megapolis for the Line Q out of 12 ordered by the municipality from TrolZa. The trolleybuses were dispatched from the port of Zárate, where they arrived from Russia, on 04.18. As per the Secretary of Mobility, Monica Alvarado, since Trolza delivered trolleybuses with a delay, 2 additional trolleybuses are expected as a penalty for a breach of the contract by TrolZa, in addition to the 12 ordered.

A new Trolza-5265 Megapolis trolleybus was delivered to the depot. It was purchased by the OJSC Chernomortransneft to commemorate its 50th anniversary.
