After 4 years, Adelaide's tram system has gone from private hands back into public hands. Tram management and rolling stock is now in the hands of the state. Repair and maintenance of the fleet is still handled by the carrier Torrens Connect. |

From Saturday 2 August, the Glenelg tram-line will close for six months between South Terrace and Moseley Square, Glenelg during construction of overpasses at South Road, Marion Road/Cross Road and Morphett Road.
Tram lines in the CBD will still be in service, with the temporary depot being built between City South and Greenhill road.
