First day of regular operation of Iveco E-Way 12M electric buses. |

Officially opened to revenue service the extension from Via Roberto Tremelloni to Via Adriano. It's part of the wider project of the "Metrotranvia interquartiere nord", bound to connect districts currently not served by a direct connection. Line 7 gets therefore extended to the new terminus in Via Adriano, while the infrastructures towards the Cascina Gobba M2 metro line station and the temporary Via Ettore Majorana terminus gets completed. |

First operational day for the new Solaris Urbino IV 18 electric; the first units in service belong to the Sarca depot and are employed exclusively on routes 165, 166, 727, 728 and 729, for the moment. These new buses will let the aging Mercedes-Benz Citaro G Facelift fleet, dating back to 2008/2009, to be gradually replaced. |

The first vehicle of the new Stadler Tramlink series, car #7701, entered officially into passenger service, after a long trial procedure imposed by ANSFISA (Italy's bureau for public transport safety). The car is assigned to the Precotto depot, as it's only allowed to run in revenue service on the infrastructure served by lines 7 and 31. |

The extension of the metro line M4 from San Babila to San Cristoforo has opened. The line now is fully completed, lengthing around 15 kilometres and counting 21 stations. |

Информация о подвижном составе:
Линия М1
В 2015-м году, в связи с поступлением новых составов "Leonardo", были выведены из эксплуатации вагоны первых 3-х лотов: моторные 100-155, 200-255 и прицепные 1101-1128.
Остальные вагоны были подвергнуты модернизации и переделаны в сквозные составы начиная с 2010 года.
Линия М2
Начиная с 2017-го года, в связи с поступлением новых составов "Leonardo", начат вывод из эксплуатации (на лето 2018 года выведены из эксплуатации вагоны 1-го и 2-го лота, окончание ожидается на конец 2018-го года) вагоны первых 4-х лотов: моторные 301-327, 401-469 и прицепные 2101-2113, 2501-2535.
Начиная с 2017-го года, тоже в связи с поступлением новых составов "Leonardo", начат вывод из эксплуатации (окончание ожидается на конец 2020-го года) вагоны 5-го и 6-го лотов: моторные 328-395 и прицепные 2114-2147.
