Officially opened to revenue service the extension from Via Roberto Tremelloni to Via Adriano. It's part of the wider project of the "Metrotranvia interquartiere nord", bound to connect districts currently not served by a direct connection. Line 7 gets therefore extended to the new terminus in Via Adriano, while the infrastructures towards the Cascina Gobba M2 metro line station and the temporary Via Ettore Majorana terminus gets completed.

First operational day for the new Solaris Urbino IV 18 electric; the first units in service belong to the Sarca depot and are employed exclusively on routes 165, 166, 727, 728 and 729, for the moment. These new buses will let the aging Mercedes-Benz Citaro G Facelift fleet, dating back to 2008/2009, to be gradually replaced.

The first vehicle of the new Stadler Tramlink series, car #7701, entered officially into passenger service, after a long trial procedure imposed by ANSFISA (Italy's bureau for public transport safety). The car is assigned to the Precotto depot, as it's only allowed to run in revenue service on the infrastructure served by lines 7 and 31.

The extension of the metro line M4 from San Babila to San Cristoforo has opened. The line now is fully completed, lengthing around 15 kilometres and counting 21 stations.

The M4 line of the Metropolitana di Milano has been extended from Dateo to San Babila, along with one intermediate station Tricolore. Thus, the line is now connected to the rest of the metro network: San Babila station provides possibility to change for the line M1.

The new metro line М4 — Linate Aeroporto — Dateo is opened.
The first 5.3 km-long segment of the line includes 6 stations: Linate Aeroporto, Repetti, Stazione Forlanini, Argonne, Susa and Dateo. The new line will not be connected to the rest of the metro system until the future Dateo — San Babila segment is built.

Закрывается трамвайный междугородный маршрут 179 (Milano — Limbiate). Основная причина закрытия — проведение КП сильно изношенной инфраструктуры, с последующим отстранением от регулярных пассажирских перевозок устарелых вагонов серии Bloccati 500. Планируется в будущем конвертировать линию под метро-трам, используя в качестве ПС новые трамваи марки Stadler.

Rozzano's extension Rozzano, via Cabrini — Rozzano, Guido Rossa (1,8 km) is in service now.

2 new Solaris Urbino IV 12 Electric started service on route "84". The order includes 25 electric buses, that will be delivered before end of year.

Solaris won the contract to deliver 80 new Trollino 18,75 MetroStyle trolleybuses with Kiepe Electric equipment. The Esslingen 504 was tested on Milan's Lines 90/91 this February — March.

Following rail maintenance the suburban Comasina — Limbiate tramway line reopens for service. The new schedule: Monday — Saturday 5:11-9:54 and 16:28-20:58.

Suburban tramway "Comasina"-"Limbiate" is split in two pieces "Comasina"-"Cassina Amata" and "Cassina Amata"-"Limbiate".

The tram Line 23 closes. The Line 19 is extended to Lambrate FS in place of the Line 23. The Line 27 is rerouted to Duomo instead of the former terminal Piazza 6 Febbraio. The extended Line 19 now serves the segment between Piazza 6 Febbraio and Duomo in place of the Line 27. The service on the Line 24 is increased by 26 round trips daily. The Lines 15 and 24 exchange terminals — the Line 15 now operates to Via Dogana, while the Line 24 operates to Piazza Fontana.
