29.04.2024	Craiova: Publication of tender for purchase of 22 electric buses (12m) through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. 30.12.2024: contract was signed with Karsan Otomotiv.
07.01.2021	Segarcea: Publication of tender for purchase of 3 electric buses (10m) through the Regional Operational Program, Priority Axis 4 of the REGIO Program 2014-2020. 12.01.2022: contract was signed with Anadolu Automobil ROM (romanian importator for Karsan Otomotiv). 12.2022: all electric buses were delivered.
14.01.2020	Craiova: Publication of tender for purchase of 16 electric buses (18m) through european funds. 28.04.2020: contract was signed with Solaris Bus & Coach. 06.2021: all electric buses were delivered (no. 030 — 045).

Trolleybuses operated in Craiova between May 9, 1943 — October 1944 using 7 YaTB-4 trolleybuses, 1 YaTB-4А trolleybus, and infrastructure requisitioned from Odessa. Starting from March 1944 additional 3 YaTB-4 trolleybuses evacuated from Chernovtsi were added. After the war all 11 trolleybuses were returned/sent to Odessa.

The first tram system was also under construction during the war, but was never finished. Infrastructure also requisitioned from Odessa was used for construction. 11 cars from Odessa were to be used: 8 motors, 2 motors rebuilt into trailers, and 1 trailer. All 11 trams were returned to Odessa after the war.

The second generation tram system was opened in Craiova 24.09.1987.

Троллейбусы работали в Крайове с 9 мая 1943 г. по октябрь 1944 г. Использовались 7 троллейбусов ЯТБ-4, 1 троллейбус ЯТБ-4А, а также инфраструктура, реквизированные из Одессы. С марта 1944 г. добавились 3 троллейбуса ЯТБ-4, эвакуированые из Черновцов. После войны все 11 троллейбусов были возвращены / отправлены в Одессу.

Первая трамвайная система также строилась во время войны, но так и не была открыта. Инфраструктура для строительства линии была также реквизирована из Одессы. На новой линии должны были использоваться 11 вагонов из Одессы: 8 моторных вагонов, 2 моторных вагона, перестроенных в прицепы, и 1 прицеп. Все 11 вагонов были возвращены в Одессу после войны.

Трамвайная система "второго поколения" открылась в Крайове 24.09.1987.
