Delmar Boulevard

The tram line was partly envisioned as a feeder line to the Light Rail, even though this doesn't work on 60 min. headways on the tram line.
On the left is a building of the former Delmar Station of the Wabash Railroad, nowadays with the Light Rail Station and a separate entrance located behind it.

Only one tram is operated these days, so the passing point is not used.

An empty and lonely tramcar on the busy commercial Delmar Boulevard in University City west of St. Louis.
The Delmar Loop Trolley is considered the most unsuccessful of all the new tram projects in the US.
