Eindhalte (endstation) Eilandje — MAS

The route to Havenhuis was usually used for instruction, but if it wasn't available, they'd switch to the MAS/Eilandje terminus, which was the case on the day of shooting: route 24 was diverted to MAS/Eilandje due to works on the Mexicobruggen.

This tram used to run here every day, but in practice it was never possible to take photos like this: it was always too busy. Now it was possible to wait for a rare moment when there was no traffic at all.

This route is not in use for regular passenger service. It was (and is) used to reach the regular endstation, as here for route 12 between the depot of Deurne and the terminus Centraal Station.
