All tramway lines in Stuttgart had been U-bahnized through conversion to 1435 mm, right-of-way segregation and installation of high platforms.
A historic tramset by-passes a high-platform Olgaeck U-bahn station in the city center via a triple rail track designed for dual 1000/1435 mm operation.

This is the line served by the famous Line 15, the last 1000 mm regular tram operation in Stuttgart that ended 08.12.2007, and worked with the same Esslingen GT4 classic equipment.

This is perhaps the only street left in Stuttgart where one can capture a real classic Stuttgart streetcar operation scene on the original 1000 mm track (not in mix service with U-bahn with standard 1435 mm gauge).
