A portrait photo of this tram. The driver had forgotten to take the sign for line 11 with him in the depot, but it was indeed a tram in passenger service on line 11. After March 12, 2023, this tram will be overhauled and will return as a museum tram.

The temporary terminus of route 11 for one weekend. A local tram enthusiast was dissatisfied with the deployment of the trams on Saturday and obtained that the 7001 was used on route 11 on Sunday. This is still the oldest Antwerp P.C.C. in service.
The tram runs in the historic colors and fitted wonderfully well with the also historic building of the tram company.

Back in the 60's! Exactly 50 years ago the last interurban (vicinal) tram line was closed in Antwerp. This was commemorated and P.C.C. 7001 received the original number 2001 for that day. Both trams existed in 1968 and this crossing is historically correct at this location, where line 3 still runs and formerly line 63. The P.C.C. also received a historical line indication of the 60's for this occasion.

Until 14/07/1965 there was a tram line 1 in Antwerp. The tram line was abandoned and the tracks were broken up. 40 years later, the error of that time was rectified and in April 2006 the route was put back into service — this time for line 12.
On 28/10/2006 we organized an excursion with PCC 7001: this was the advertising tram of the trammuseum and we put an original line indicator in the tram. PCC's never drove on the original line 1, although the number was present on the indicators.
In the autumn of 2019, the original line 1 will be fully restored: the entire route will be reconstructed and the line number will come back!
