Поезда метро серии J и JK для Берлина собраны на заводе Stadler Pankow, расположенном в черте Берлина. И это большой плюс для логистики касательно доставки новых поездов заказчику.

Но проблемы с программным обеспечением, сильно отсрочившие запуск новых поездов, возникли уже в процессе серийного производства составов. Поэтому вокруг Берлина, в первую очередь в земле Бранденбург, на сортировочных станциях находятся собранные в Берлине метропоезда, которые вскоре отправят... обратно в Берлин, на сей раз уже в метродепо для начала эксплуатации. В Берлине сейчас хранить их просто негде.

К сожалению, такое внеплановое хранение не проходит бесследно с точки зрения вандализма.

The J and JK series metro trains for Berlin are built at the Stadler Pankow factory, located within Berlin. This is a big plus for logistics in terms of delivering new trains to the customer.

However, software problems that significantly delayed the launch of the new trains occurred during the serial production of the trains. As a result, the metro trains assembled in Berlin are now located at distribution stations around Berlin, primarily in the region of Brandenburg, and will soon be sent back to Berlin, this time to the metro depot to begin operation. In Berlin, there is simply nowhere to store them at the moment.

Unfortunately, such unscheduled storage does not go unnoticed in terms of vandalism.
