The new temporary terminus "Linkeroever". This is a temporary solution, pending the completion of the new permanent terminus further down the line. This will probably be at the beginning of 2022. Both the tracks along the route and the former terminus were so worn that a temporary new route had to be built. The old terminus will not return.

The first time since 1996 that tram 3 could ride this route again. In 1996 the tram tunnel was put into service and the old route was dismantled. In December 2019 a new route came into service, allowing line 3 to return to its old terminus, if necessary, what happened here.
