As far as I know, this tram line has a unique particularity: it only has overhead wires in one direction. In the other direction, the tram runs on batteries.

South Jackson Street

Although there is only overhead wire in one direction and it's in this direction, there appears to be enough battery power to be able to drive here without using the overhead wire.
