Route 12 has been temporarily extended due to work. Motorists clearly did not expect a tram to use this place.
The car driver said: "This is the fault of the photographer ( I...) who distracted my attention".
A witness said: "I have read that the tracks are very slippery due to the fall of the leafs. That is where the fault lies".
My thought (I kept silent...): this is the fault of Covid-19. Without that virus, the trams from Ghent could have been running and the line would have been shortened to the Schijnpoort stop....
