This is very interesting, new trams for Daugavpils! I am courious, who will deliver these? Actually my favourite tram for this would be the above seen 71-631 - very nice trams. And I am not sure, perhaps they are cheaper than some EU product, too.

Recently I heard that now it might be a batch of 71-911 by ПК Транспортные Системы. But they are also struggling with the authorities. Looks like there aren't any direct ban about buying something from Russia but nevertheless someone definitely doesn't want this...

I heard on practice the difference can be as much as 50% for completely similar products. Probably though our manufacturers would charge more for the export.
