At the time of writing in 2016 roughly half of trams operated were the Sixth Generation cars from the 1980-1990s, mostly rebodied between 1987-1992. The other half of trams were of the newer VWF design, constructed from 2009 on. Gradual rebuilding of cars of the Sixth Generation into VWF cars is an ongoing process. Thus, if you want to ride older cars, your luck might run out within a few years. The newer cars sound nothing like the classic trams should sound, high-pitch chirping noise being major irritant.

На момент написания данного текста в 2016 г. около половины парка трамваев составляли вагоны Шестого поколения производства 1980-1990-х гг., тогда как другую половину составляли вагоны более нового типа VWF, производимые начиная с 2009 г. Процесс поступательной перестройки вагонов Шестого поколения в вагоны VWF продолжается. Т.о. желающим покататься на старых вагонах желательно поторoпиться - до полной замены вагонов VI поколения остаётся несколько лет. Новые вагоны звучат совершенно не так, как должны звучать классические трамваи. В частности, раздражает назойливый писк на высоких тонах.
