It seems all Arad cars are bound in the database to their former HAVAG numbers, though local numeration is present, too. I think 00029 is the correct number for this one.

If there is a second car with the same number, this gets at the internal designation of a 0 in front of the original number. The B4D from Halle have any reason to get a 0 before the number. At that time there were T4R the same number range.

In this example:

T4R -> 163
B4D (Halle) -> 0163

So this one's not ex-HAVAG, is it? My mistake, but anyway, all units here have their local numeration (I mean that yellow "ARAD AR 000xx" stamp), but are marked in the database according to their former German numbers hailing from completely different locations (Halle, Essen, Ulm). There seems to be plenty of work for the site editors. :)

No, this is an original Romanian T4 ;-)

After the "yellow license plates" I would not order the tram. Without the signs must not drive the tram. Therefore like to be traded under the sign the tram, depending on which tram used.

This procedure is for all Romanian companies practice. ;-)

So the vehicle number for German-imported units remains without changes for operation here and in addition the trams get these yellow "license plates", do I get it right? Kinda unusual way, I'd say.

Here trolleybuses and trams must have license plates like normal cars (even those vehicles can't exit the city), but these yellow license plates are given by each town hall not by police. This is our legislation.
