I understand, to this day Transphoto's database assumed a 'blanket' renumbering of all ZiU trolleybuses in 1997 from 40-56 into 10-26. The above case is an example of the exception to the rule. I wonder if the 'blanket' renumbering really was that 'blanketed' )

Well, in Argentina nothing is as 'logical' as you'd expect, so this kind of things are very normal...

I've been digging through some very old forums in Argentina and I can confirm that the green '17' was in fact 21 and was moved along with 22 to that Guaymallén place where 22 still is. In the picture here it was noted that originally there was another Ziu and that was 21.

Why it had a '17' plate like the one here that has it's old number? Who knows. My theory is that it was 47 and the 4 turned into a 1 with time (they're very similar in this font). Then, wich number was the real 17 before? Sadly, I don't know. I haven't been able to found wich number was the Ziu that burned down and may be the culprit of this little mess since as far as I knew the rest were numbered 11-26 with 10 being a Toshiba and not a Ziu, but hard to tell since both potential 10s are missing.

If you go back to 2008 you'll see 7 Ziu in one corner, further down you'll see the never used TS's and a few retired TS's (these ones: /photo/1729217/) and a solitary Toshiba (09). But if you a bit more down the road you'll see a bunch of non used poles (/photo/1729219/) an finally, very faintly, the structure of the burned Ziu coated in red anti-rust paint followed by the remnants of a few TS (/photo/1729218/)
