Starting at 1 p.m., the two trolleybuses set off on the network for the last time, 20 minutes apart. All trips were well attended and caused some delays. (Line 1 ran according to the normal Sunday schedule with the Irizar buses). About half an hour later, number 104 set off on its last passenger service round trip to Waldfriedhof. At many stops, local residents and trolleybus fans took one last photo. At around 4.35 p.m., pieces of coal touched a catenary in Schaffhausen for the last time. After the director ceremoniously switched off the power at a substation, number 104 drove to the Ebnat depot one last time with batteries, where the trolleybuses were given a proper send-off.
