The trolleybus arrived from Moscow fully assembled, while the remaining vehicles arrived in Ulaanbaatar as bodywork.

The UBMOS (Ulaanbaatar - Moscow) project involved the delivery of MTrZ-6223 trolleybus bodies from Moscow and installation of equipment from used ZiU-682 trolleybuses locally in Ulaanbaatar. However, the first trolleybus 4-003 (later renumbered 2-003) was delivered from Moscow to Ulaanbaatar fully assembled. The remaining trolleybuses arrived in Mongolia as bodies. A total of 11 trolleybuses were produced / assembled within the project in years 2007 and 2009.

Проект "UBMOS" (Ulan-Bator - Moskva) подразумевал поставку кузовов МТрЗ-6223 из Москвы и начинку их местным оборудованием от б/у ЗиУ-682 в Улан-Баторе. Однако первая машина 4-003 (позднее перенумерована в 2-003) была поставлена из Москвы в Улан-Батор целиком укомплектованной. Остальные машины пришли в Монголию в виде кузовов. Всего в рамках проекта было выпущено / собрано 11 троллейбусов в 2007 и 2009 гг.

Машина 4-003 до отправки в Улан-Батор обкатывалась в Москве 02.2007:
