The new stub-end tramway terminal inside the Toyama Main Railway Station opened March 14, 2015, coinciding with the opening of the high-speed Hokuriku Shinkansen service. The station will be converted into a through tunnel on March 21, 2020, connecting the central city Centram tramway network and the Portram Light Rail line with the terminal on northern side of the station.

Новая тупиковая конечная трамвайная станция была открыта 14.03.2015 прямо в здании ж.д. вокзала Тояма, что совпало с открытием линии скоростного поезда Hokuriku Shinkansen. Трамвайная станция была преобразована в сквозной туннель 21.03.2020. Тем самым появилось соединение между городской трамвайной сетью Centram и линией скоростного трамвая Portram с конечной на северной стороне вокзала.
