Car 9701 is the very first low-floor car in Japan.
At the time of the photo this car of so called 'Bremen' type was out of service and mothballed at the depot for technical reasons.

Вагон 9701 — самый первый низкопольный трамвай в Японии.
На момент съёмки данный вагон, т.н. трамвай "бременского" типа, был законсервирован и стоял "под забором" в депо по техническим причинам.

The very first low-floor car in Japan Adtranz/Niigata Engineering 9701 entered service 02.08.1997. It was out of service due to electrical system failure from 2012. The tram was refurbished and has returned to duties 01.10.2019.

Самый первый низкопольный трамвай в Япони, вагон 9701 производства Adtranz/Niigata Engineering, впервые вышел на линию 02.08.1997. Вагон встал в буквальном смысле "под забор" из-за проблем с электрикой в 2012 году. Вагон был перестроен и вернулся на линию 01.10.2019.
