If I understand correctly, the border between the two "worlds" is now exactly in the place of KRAZ truck in the background in this photo. A barricade is visible at that point in Google views. Thus the trams used to run from the nowadays Ukrainian-controlled territory to the territory of the Donetsk Republic.

Если правильно понимаю, граница между двумя "мирами" сейчас проходит точно на месте КРАЗа на дальнем плане на этом снимке. Судя по снимкам в Гугле, в этой точке сейчас баррикада. Таким образом данная трамвайная линия шла с территори, контролируемой сегодня Украиной, на территорию ДНР.
