However, Suez is said in the original source of this photo.

1. The name 'Suez' is recent (from 1967).
2. This place is now a small city, but before the war of 1967 no more than a big (African) village.
3. Suez / Al Quizum had never a tramsystem.

About Cairo and Heliopolis.
The tram was introduced in Cairo by Baron Eduard Empain, who founded not only a tramfactory (later: ACEC) but also exported tramsystems and founded the city of Heliopolis.

In Belgium, books about this (included the tram in Cairo) exists. That's the reason why I recognize this tram as a tram from Cairo.
