One thing I did not catch initially: this photo is taken on the day of opening of the Neihu line extension of the Brown line. The old fixed block signaling system was replaced by Bombardier and on this day, all the VAL 256 trains were taken out of service before being reintroduced a year later (19.12.2010) after modifications.
