In 1964, underground tramway work did not yet exist: a few short tunnels, like this one, had been built in 1958, but actually without any stations.
The complexity has remained about the same: trams have to leave in different directions. There were also many more tram lines then than now, and an added bonus: this complex was built on the occasion of the 1958 World Expo.
