The tram was used in Mannheim (Germany) 1964-2006, acquired by Helsingin kaupungin liikennelaitos 2008. Originally the tram was single-section Duewag GT6, but in 1991 fitted with a middle car and converted into an eight-axle tram Duewag GT8.
