In 1926 the Maeklong Railway's eastern section (Khlong San-Maha Chai) was electrified as an interurban railroad. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maeklong_Railway
It stayed that way until 1955 when the wires were removed.

Nowadays the line is also known for the far western terminus 'Maeklong' where the market is arranged along the tracks in a tight configuration. However, this is on the outer section, which was never electrified.
