Last lot of 25 combination cars for the North Side Street Railroad was nearing completion in July, 1891 (Street Railway Review, Jul. 15, 1891, p. 290). 90 such cars were rebuilt as separate open grips and closed trailers by November, 1898 (Street Railway Review, Nov. 15, 1898, p. 802). At least some cars might have been renumbered prior to rebuilding.
