Very beautiful system! What was a reason to close the tramway?

An ordinary, banal derailment, which showed that the condition of the tracks was mediocre to bad. The combination of the possible repair costs and the daily running costs made the city decide to 'temporarily' shut down the tram.
The tracks and trams had arrived in anticipation of a modern tram. A Combino once drove a trial run, but I still have to find out the exact dates.

If someone wants to rebuild the line, pay for the new trams and still make a contribution to the operation: then a new tram will be built.
