#548 would have been operating an enthusiasts' charter [in early 1969, because the replacement bus stop signs are visible], and has stopped at a favoured photography location.
The "tram shelter" still stands, though moved for road widening.
Tram #548 remains in service at the Sydney Tram Museum.
