How long will the PCC trams be in service in Antwerp? I am going to visit this city in August and I would like to take photograps of them.

The PCCs will remain in service for at least a few more years (until 2023?).
Approximately 6 low-floor trams are always out of service due to modernisation at the Bombardier factory, while during the summer 6 other trams are also in service at the coast.

The current situation is as follows:

old solo pcc's: line 11 and 70. When it is hot, lines 11 and even 70 can be operated with low-floor trams. If there is an event in the centre of Antwerp, it is also possible to use low-floor trams on line 70. Here a photo of line 11 with low floor in july last year. It was only when it was more as 30 degrees.

coupled pcc's: line 2 (40 %) - line 4 (I expect also 40 %, now the line is partially out of order but will operate normal later in april 2019) - line 7 (90 %; only 1 low-floor tram on the line) - 8 (40 %) - 10 (40 %).

Ghent P.C.C.'s: line 12 between Schijnpoort (now: Sportpaleis, but I think in august this will be Schijnpoort) and Central Station, with 3 or maybe 4 trams. Check if the line is not interrupted: this is by example this week due to works and this will happen many times the next months, but mostly for a weekend or a week, not more.

You can always sent me end of july or begin of august a pm to know what the exact situation is on that moment. Many can change.
