The tram Lines 1, 3 and Koltsevoy ('Circular') are suspended for 2 months due to rehab of the track and overhead via Krylova, Schorsa, Chekhova and Privokzalnaya Ulitsa, as well as the Baklanovskiy Prospect crossing.

Rechargeable electric buses are now fully accepted on our website.

The head MP ET trolleybus facility (the Depot 2) serving the Lines 7, 16 and partially 67 closes. Trolleybus' storage is relocated to the Posyolok Solnechniy Terminal.

A major tramway route redesign. The Lines 1 & 1A merge into the Line 1 operating between Perämiehenkatu — Pohjolanaukio via Töölöntori. The Line 1 will no longer operate via Kauppatori (Market Square). Prior to a change the Lines 1 & 1А operated on weekdays only, however now the Line 1 will operate daily. The Line 9 will operate to Saukonpaasi utilizing the new extension via Välimerenkatu. The Line 3 will operate between Töölön halli — Olympiaterminaali. The Line 2 will operate between Olympiaterminaali — Maistraatintori. The circular Lines 7A & 7B merge into the Line 7 operating between Maistraatintori — Länsiterminaali T2. The former routing of the Lines 7A & 7B will be partially covered by the new Line 2. At the Olympiaterminaali Terminal trams will change route designation between the Lines 3 and 2, while at the Maistraatintori Terminal trams will change route designation between the Lines 2 and 7. The new trolleybus Line 92 between Sevastopol (Nakhimova Ploschad) and Inkerman opens. The line will be operated with 2 trolleybuses with an auxiliary power option. Later on the line will be operated with 6 TrolZa-5265.03 Megapolis trolleybuses.

Following 5 years of reconstruction of the Mayak extension, the trolleybus Line 2 is extended and returns to the Mayak Terminal.

Tatra Т3SU cars are officially removed from service.

The first of four BKM-321 trolleybuses, purchased with the funds of the Donetsk State Administration, arrived in the city

В 6-й троллейбусный парк прибыли первые 2 троллейбуса модели ТролЗа-5265.02 с увеличенным автономным ходом.

На территорию АО "Уфимский Трамвайно-троллейбусный завод" доставлен второй кузов, собранный ПАО "НефАЗ". В отличии от первого кузова, полученного в феврале, этот кузов сделан на базе низкопольного автобуса НефАЗ-52994.

The trolleybus Line 78 closes. The diesel bus Line T78 will be operated instead.

The new trolleybus route #14 opens, running from the Solnechny neighborhood to Glinki Street through the Central Bridge. The route is served by two Dnipro-T203 trolleybuses, which travel mostly on an autonomic course.

Two Dnipro-T203 trolleybuses are received after factory tests and assigned numbers 1001 and 1002. Both units are capable of an autonomous course up to 20 km.

Tramway operation is suspended. Former tramway routes are served by the municipal diesel buses via the Lines 5a & 11. The city council insists that replacement of trams with buses is better for the citizens. The inventory evaluation of the tramway undertaking is on the way to determine the fate of the tramway.

Прошли успешные испытания троллейбусов ТролЗа 5265.03 "Мегаполис" №1095 и №1096 по маршруту №92 "Площадь Нахимова — Инкерман".

Closure of the funicular for modernization until the early 2018.

1 августа глава горадминистрации Олег Полумордвинов подписал постановление №4498, которое фактически разрешает использовать на троллейбусных маршрутах автобусы малого класса. Для этого в список маршрутов были внесены маршрута 1А и 2А, дублирующие троллейбусные «единичку» и «двойку». Также подписаны уведомления о сокращении персонала троллейбусного парка. В настоящее время выпуск троллейбусов на линию продолжается, но резко снижен. На весь город — всего четыре троллейбуса.
