Opening of a new line and an extension on the Xian Metro:

• Line 16 opened with 9 stations, from Shijinli to Qinchuangyuanzhongxin over a distance of 15.1 km

• Line 2 extended in both North and South by 2 stations each; Caotan and Honghuiyiyuanbeiqu, Hejiaying and Changninggong respectively.
