Luxtram commissioned, this Friday, July 27, 2018, three new stations: Theater, Earthenware and Stäreplaz / Etoile (1.6 km).

Testing of the new Urbos 3 trams began via the segment of track on John F. Kennedy Avenue. The 16-km long tramway line will be completed by 2020-21. The 3,6-km long segment of the line will be built without an overhead, trams will operate using battery auxiliary power. Passenger service via the first segment between LuxExpo & Pont Rouge is expected to commence on 10.12.2017.
